DREAM COUNT

Winner of the 2026 Clive Cussler Adventure Writers Competition Grandmaster Award

“An ingenious, riveting thriller ... will keep you guessing—and turning the pages long after you should be asleep.” — Dirk Cussler, bestselling author and final judge of the Adventure Writers Competition

What if everyone on Earth experienced the same dream?

Of a clock.

Counting down.

To what, no one knows.

When billions of people begin having the same inexplicable dream, the world demands answers. Governments scramble for explanations. Scientists search for clues. And as the countdown continues, fear begins to spread.

For Washington, D.C. news anchor David Hill, the story becomes terrifyingly personal when he finds himself drawn into the mystery that threatens not only his family, but the entire world.

As nations edge toward war and society begins to fracture, David must make an impossible choice: protect the people he loves or pursue the one clue that might explain what's happening.

Because the greatest danger may not be what happens when the clock reaches zero.

It may be what humanity does before it gets there.
